Cable people must know the uses and specifications of various cables.The representation method of wires and cables is mainly composed of three parts:model,specification and standard number.The following are the uses,specifications and models of various cables and the correct notation of cables organized by HengYi HDMI China Extruder Machine Manufacturer.Welcome to learn!
1.The meaning of the model
The types of wires and cables for electrical equipment and power cables are mainly composed of the following seven parts:
Some special wire and cable models have derivative codes at the end.The meaning of the letters in the most commonly used wire and cable models is introduced below:

3.Specifications
Specifications are composed of rated voltage,number of cores and nominal cross-section.
The general rated voltages of wires and control cables are 300/300V,300/500V,450/750V;
The rated voltages of medium and low voltage power cables are generally 0.6/1kv,1.8/3kv,3.6/6kv,6/6(10)KV,8.7/10(15)kv,12/20kv,18/20(30)kv,21/35kv,26/35kv,etc.
The number of cores of wires and cables is determined according to actual needs.Generally,power cables mainly have 1,2,3,4,and 5 cores,wires mainly have 1 to 5 cores,and control cables have 1 to 61 cores.
The nominal cross section is the approximate value of the cross section of the conductor.In order to achieve the specified DC resistance,it is convenient to memorize and uniformly specify an integer value near a conductor cross section.The conductor cross-sections specified in my country are 0.5,0.75,1,1.5,2.5,4,6,10,16,25,35,50,70,95,120,150,185,240,300,400,500,630,800,1000,1200,etc.It should be emphasized here that the nominal cross-section of the conductor is not the actual cross-section of the conductor.Many of the actual cross-sections of the conductor are smaller than the nominal cross-section,and several are larger than the nominal cross-section.In the actual production process,as long as the DC resistance of the conductor can meet the specified requirements,it can be said that the cross section of the cable is up to standard.
4.Standard number
Most of the wires and cables we produce now have clear standards in countries or industries.The main purpose is of course to unify the design and use.Here I mainly introduce several wire and cable standard numbers related to the products produced by our company.
1)GB5023-1997 rated voltage 450/750V and below PVC insulated cables
2)JB8734-1998 rated voltage 450/750V and below PVC insulated cables,wires and cords
2)GB 5013-1997 rated voltage 450/750V and below rubber insulated cables
